My challenge this Month is a Sad Rock Robot. oh boy, I'm gonna have to dig deep.
So I haven't had a inspirational bombshell idea that has rocked my imagination. like AHA! that’s what i'm going to do! so ive been looking at lots of pictures. taking a little of this, then thinking. What are my favorite elements of my favorite Robots?
Take the T 800, Terminator for example. its very shiney, skeletal structure make it Terrifying to look at. I like all of the pistons and hydraulic elements. Its hell bent on destroying everything, to get to John Conner.

Then you have Optimus Prime, the boxy look, but the lines he has screams Iconic robot design. he is a Robot on the edge of his race’s extinction, but he has the determination to still stand for what is right. he has the Posture that I love.
Then you have C-3po, in my opinion the worst character in Star Wars.Yes even worse than Jar Jar! At least Jar Jar helped win a battle. C-3po is a complaining wienie whose sole
purpose was to.. I dont even know, Annoy? But I do like the exposed wires helping him to define his robot-ness. I also like his eyes. R2-D2 on the the other hand. Rocks the frickin house! Woot! Woot! I like the dome part on his head. if I stuck my robots head smack dab in the center, the look would help me define the shape of Slumped shoulders, denoting sadness.
The Iron Giant, mixes all of these elements into a simpler, smooth skeleton design, I like his domey
head, with the big eyes. and he conveys all changes of emotions. so I think im going to do something along the lines of the iron giant. I mean look at this guy! It’s so awesome you can't look at this part of the movie and not think oooo! you're in trouble!!! And they convey all of his emotions with the squintyness of his eyes.
Timeless colossus to bring his Girl friend Back to life.
So here are some of my Sketches of the direction I am going. And maybe I Can make something pretty neat out of a difficult Challenge.
