Hi every one! So I was going to make another snazzy video.. but I decided to just do a blog post since life has been crazy these last few days.
So.. April challenge, whats it gonna be?
First off.. April 11 is Aaron's birthday! YAY!!! He is going to be.. I dunno.. 25 or something.
So I was thinking about what I wanted to challenge every one with, and I was talking with my Dad, and he asked me if I would make a bust of my Mom.. well gee, Dad I've never made a bust of a person before.. POW! Challenge!! So this months Challenge is sculpting a Bust.
Whom shall you sculpt? You might ask. Well, I'm choosing my Mom, you can choose whomever you want.. A person that inspires you, or a bunny.. a Easter bunny, or Jesus, who we are celebrating his resurrection this month. or.. Who ever inspires you. it could a list of people.. and if that's the case, make a list.. and roll the dice, make that person
Here's what a bust is.
A more Classical Example would be one of these.
Now you can make this bust out of any type of material you want.. if you want to sculpt it.. go ahead.. Draw it? Great! Want to write a song? YES! do it.. Recorded it and post to our face book page we would love to hear it. here's some creative examples to get your juices flowing.
So there you go. The more creative the better. You have a whole month to work on it. Post the pictures on the NYM facebook pages and we will post it here on the blog as the month goes on. Then again on the months final post.
