Wow, what a month we had! Who knew that sculpting babies was gonna be so hard. Not this guy I'll tell you that much! Nate and I had to dig deep and do tons of research. Lucky we found a tons of tutorials and blogs that were dedicated to the art of baby doll making. I didnt know it was so big... anyways. here are some links to some of the videos that helped us the most.
How I Sculpt My Polymer Clay Babies by Julie Carpenter
This one is probably my favorite I referenced back to it the most. there are no word just pictures set to music, but she does a good job showing us the steps. How to Sculpt a Baby in Polymer Clay (((Excerpt from DVD)))
shes pretty detailed in her video.
no audio but ok about the steps. I didn't reference it alot but its good to see how different people do it.
This video will add nothing to your sculpting skills, its just awesome.
this is another really good one. but it is long and boring...she just sculpts and its easy to se what she is doing but if you have a.d.d. lie me you'll fast forward a lot.
Here are the messed up pics nate and I sent to each other as we practised. there is no order here...
Remember that the theme was babys. The challenge was to make a baby sculpture of a baby doing something grown up. I'll post the finals soon.
